Memphis-Midsouth DSA

Dear Comrade,

We’re excited to invite you to our second Solidarity Sunday canvassing event for Noah Nordstrom, Memphis-Midsouth DSA’s endorsed candidate for Tennessee House District 83! Here are the event details:

Event Details:

  • Date: Sunday, October 27

  • Time: 2-5 pm

  • Location: Noah’s house – 6220 Forest Grove Drive, Memphis, TN 38119

  • Register Here

This Solidarity Sunday is all about connecting with voters in District 83 to share Noah’s vision for better and more equitable public schools and stronger workers’ rights. He is running against Republican incumbent Mark White, who has consistently opposed pro-worker and pro-people legislation. Mark White is standing in the way of real change for our community, and we need your help to unseat him and push for a more just Tennessee.

Agenda:

  • 2 pm: Pancakes and OJ kick off the event

  • 2:30 pm: Brief canvassing orientation led by the Nordstrom campaign

  • 3 pm: Door-knocking in the district to spread Noah’s message

This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow members and make a tangible impact in this race.

If you can’t make it this weekend, please consider working on Election Day for Noah’s campaign. Noah’s campaign will share a pre-recorded workshop beforehand to guide volunteers on what to expect. Stay tuned for more information and RSVP below.

Let us know if you can make it for November 5 here.

In solidarity,
Alexandra
