I’ve run in a lot of races in my life — and no, not the kind you’re thinking of. 😉
I’ve always loved the sport of running. In college, I was on our school’s cross country team – as you can see in the picture above!
Here are some of the best lessons I’ve learned as a runner:
🏃♀️ Even if it’s just you on the course, there’s a whole team behind you that makes every step possible.
💪 It can be hard, but if it’s something you care about, it’s worth it.
🏁 You can’t stop pushing until the very end — even if the finish line is in sight.
Funnily enough, when I ran my first political campaign, I realized a lot of the same lessons were true!
