ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Initial results of California’s new policy suggest that it may help improve college access among low-income, Latino, and other historically underrepresented students. PPIC researcher Kevin Cook will outline the findings of a new report, and a panel of state and local experts will discuss the challenges of implementation as well as ways to encourage widespread completion of financial aid applications.

This research and event are supported with funding from the Evelyn & Walter Haas, Jr. Fund, Kresge Foundation, and Sutton Family Fund.
