We’re two weeks out from Election Day, and polling remains too close. We need to remember what’s at stake — and it’s spelled out in the pages of Project 2025.
By now, Project 2025 may feel like a buzzword, but it’s a very, very real threat that we can’t normalize. Project 2025 is a dangerous bucket list of extremist policies that would uproot every government agency and disrupt the lives of everyone who calls this country home. It’s not just Trump — the GOP platform is full of xenophobic, racist, transphobic language and policies aimed at reshaping our society and our federal government to fit their authoritarian agenda.
They’re promising to cut federal funding for schools that dare to teach children about America’s history of racism, about race and gender in general — or “other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content.” They want to carry out mass deportations of millions of immigrant families, and be allowed to freely discriminate against people based on their sexual orientation.
In the short-term, our top priority is to keep Project 2025 from being enacted, and that means electing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to the White House. After that, the MAGA movement that created this document will still be within our government. So I’m relying on your support right now to be able to fight back against far-right extremists and their ideology in the House.
Onward,
