May 2020 CPL Report
As expected, there was a contraction last month in total statewide CPL numbers to
669,088 as of May 1, 2020. The three factors impacting this are the suspension of
most CPL classes during COVID-19, the inability for new applicants to apply for
licenses, and CPL renewals being viewed as discretionary spending by those who have
been put out of work as a result of Stay Home. The full report can be read HERE

A reminder that CPL Renewals can now be done online [[link removed]]
with a PIN received in the mail or by mailing the renewal application directly to
the Michigan State Police without a PIN.
