This summer, Vermont faced devastating and fatal flooding from Hurricane Beryl.
Last summer was no different.
Outside of Vermont, Helene and Milton tore through the United States, uprooting entire families and communities.
The message is clear: Climate change is here, and we can’t ignore it anymore.
But Republican extremists are still in denial. Did you see them claiming that weather machines are causing these disasters? While they are clinging to conspiracy theories and sowing division, our communities are suffering.
Hurricanes aren’t hoaxes!
If we want to protect Vermont, our country, and our planet, we need a unified, 50-state solution to tackle the climate crisis. That means electing Democrats up and down the ticket who understand the urgency of this issue.
