John,
With just 12 days until Election Day, the news cycle is in overdrive.
Every time you watch or read the news, chances are you hear about another BRAND NEW or BREAKING poll.
Every time you check social media, you probably see another armchair pundit confidently predicting who will win.
And every time you open your email or texts, you likely come across a flood of messages from campaigns and groups trying to scare or guilt you.
If you’re anything like us, this emotional whiplash can be anxiety-inducing. For some of the folks pushing these kinds of messages and tactics, that’s their goal.
But the actual truth is this: this election is as close and as important as any in recent memory — and whether we win or lose won’t hinge on what pundits or polls say but on the actions we each take individually over the next week and a half.
The single most effective thing we can do at this stage in the race is to block out all the online noise and keep organizing to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to the White House, block Trump and MAGA from power, and build a working families majority in Congress and all the way down the ballot.
That’s our plan. Are you with us?
If so, join us in blocking out the online noise by signing up to help us turn out voters in key states and districts. We’ve already contacted millions of voters around the country — with millions more to go, we need all the help we can get.

And if you’re not in a position to volunteer, the next best thing you can do is make a contribution to power our general election work and ensure that we have the resources needed to keep our organizers and volunteers well-equipped for the final stretch.

There is no single silver bullet that will win this election. There’s no poll or Twitter post that will tell us anything particularly new over these next 12 days.
But if we continue to talk to voters — face to face, over the phone, online, and in our neighborhoods — about the stakes of this race and the real issues impacting their daily lives, we know we can win.
We know this is a strategy that truly WORKS. Knocking on doors. Making calls. Having heartfelt and earnest conversations with other voters in your area and ensuring they have a plan to vote.
Let's stay focused, stay determined, and continue to go all out over these next 12 days.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
