The first stop on our 2025 training calendar is Ready to Lead® Midwest, John! In the past 14 years, we’ve cultivated a 370-strong community of NALpistas in the Midwest who have all gone on to hold public office, manage political campaigns, and advocate for meaningful change in their communities. If you’ve always wanted to run for office or take your leadership skills to the next level, consider applying for Ready to Lead® Midwest today! You’ll be joining a strong community of doers and changemakers doing the most to advance immigrant voices. Over a Ready to Lead® weekend, you’ll learn how to own your power, share your authentic New American story, learn effective fundraising tactics, and connect and engage with other inspired leaders from across the region. Upon completion of the program, you’ll gain access to connect with other alumni–some of whom are elected officials–from across the country!
