Election officials who back Trump’s 'Big Lie' stir concern in swing states

Reuters looked at election boards in the five largest counties in seven battleground states and found that nearly HALF have at least one election denier. 

In one example, they found that the head of the Macomb County Elections Department  — the office that will need to certify election results this November — called on Trump in 2020 to “not concede the election and to set up ‘military tribunals’ to investigate fraud.” 

As someone who is committed to safeguarding our right to vote, you know that election boards are where the rubber meets the road for our democracy. We cannot have election deniers working against the will of voters to determine the outcome of races up and down the ballot — from the state legislature and state supreme court to Congress and the White House.
