Friend,
We are less than two weeks from Election Day, and I’m fired up.
Our campaign is hard at work crisscrossing the district to hear what’s on people’s minds, and make sure everyone knows they have a trusted neighbor to call on.
Below are some highlights from recent events that I wanted to share. But first and foremost, I want to thank you, friend. Your support has put us in our strongest position yet, and together I believe we can hold this seat in November and help flip the House.
I hope to see you out there.
-Eric

I took a moment to speak with reporters in our community over ensuring the town of Silvis has clean drinking water. I’m never going to stop my work until all the lead pipes are gone and every community has clean water coming from the tap.

I stood alongside our local chapter of the Laborers' International Union of North America. I am proud to have a 100% pro-labor record in Congress. You can’t just say you support working men and women, you have to show it.

Speaking of organized labor, I enjoyed meeting up with Local 50 in Peoria to hear about what they need to keep us safe. I’m proud to be endorsed by the International Association of Firefighters, and I’ll work with anyone to make sure all our hometown firefighters have the support they deserve.

I met with retired teachers in Mount Carroll to talk about protecting Social Security and repealing unfair demands. Educators in small towns shape future leaders, and I get to have their backs in Congress. I'll stand for those who spent their lives caring for others!

And I was honored to accept the Illinois Farm Bureau endorsement at the Deppert’s family farm in Tazewell County! Our farming roots run deep and I’m proud to stand up for the next generation of agriculture. I’ll keep working so IL- 17 remains THE Ag Capital of the world.

My community has given me so much, and I will always put each of you first. But as the election gets closer by the minute, and with votes already being cast, I need all of us to come together to ensure we have the support so I can keep supporting IL-17.
If you can, chip in a $10 grassroots contribution to help us keep our district blue. We can’t beat Republican dark money without you. [ [link removed] ]

I’m so grateful to everyone on the trail, and the highlight of this job is to meet my neighbors in IL-17 where they are.
With appreciation,
