In some ways, it’s a stressful situation to be in, because my team and I wake up everyday knowing that control of the House — and, along with it, the future of abortion rights and so many other vital issues in this country — hinges on the outcome of our campaign.
But it’s also an empowering situation — because in a race this close, every single one of us has the power to make a difference in the outcome. Every dollar we raise, every door we knock on, every voter we turn out could be the difference between victory and defeat.
