[link removed] [[link removed]] Let me share something: one of the reasons I signed on as Sharice’s campaign manager is because she’s truly one-of-a-kind.
She’s the only Democrat who’s won a federal election in Kansas in over a decade. She flipped a Republican-held seat to do it. And even though she’s not one of those members of Congress constantly trying to get themselves on TV, she’s proven herself as one of the most effective at actually getting things done.
Here’s the thing though: yes, Sharice got where she is because she worked her heart out to do it. But she’s also here because so many supporters — nearly 100,000 people — pitched in to help her win.
It’s going to take another massive show of support to win this time around, especially with all we’re up against: an opponent raising huge sums of money from anti-abortion interests, Speaker Johnson personally wiring money to our opponent, and multiple GOP super PACs attacking us.
Maybe that sounds overwhelming, but it’s not meant to be. If we re-create the same kind of coalition that powered us to victory last time around, we like our chances.
So let’s start with something small and manageable: by the end of the day, we’d love to get three donations of $5 or more from xxxxxx. If there’s anything you can pitch in today, it would help us make sure Democrats don’t lose this critical foothold here in Kansas — or our opportunity to elect a pro-choice House majority along with it.
