People are not prepared for the violence - either the violence of a losing Trump’s attempt to seize power or the violence of a winning Trump’s retribution - the massive violence necessary to carry out his policies.
People in this country, as fearful as they might be, do not understand what fascism in America may actually look like, with many seeing the institutions that are enabling fascism as the antidote.
This forum will help us ground each other in what we face and why but also prepare us to act accordingly, together, whatever we face in the coming weeks, in situation that most certainly won’t be over on Nov 5.
