I don't know if you've been keeping tabs on the Florida Senate race, but I have — and I'm reaching out because there's too much at stake for you to ignore it.

Despite what Donald Trump and the GOP would like you to think, Florida isn't really a solid-red state. And with a strong, pro-choice Democrat like Debbie Mucarsel-Powell taking on the most unpopular Republican statewide, she's got a chance at flipping Florida.

Her only obstacle is that her opponent, Rick Scott, is the second-richest member of the Senate, and he only got there by spending $64 MILLION of his own fortune.

Since Debbie is running a grassroots campaign, the only way she'll pull this off and protect the Democratic majority is with people like you helping her to reach her $500,000 goal by midnight. Could you contribute $5 today?

With the Democratic Senate majority hanging by a one-seat thread, the GOP is poised to retake control if we don't win every pickup opportunity.

And with recent polls showing Debbie super close to the lead, Florida's shaping up to be one of our best pickup opportunities nationwide — and I was so glad to explain that to our listeners when I interviewed her on the show last week.

That said, one point she needed everyone to understand is that during Hurricanes Helene and Milton, she had to pause all campaigning. Now, she's tracking way behind her projected October fundraising benchmarks.

So even though Rick Scott skipped the vote on FEMA funding days after a major hurricane, and has spent the last few days spreading disinformation on Fox News instead of helping out Floridians in the aftermath, he's still got the upper hand in this race. Without grassroots support to reach every daily goal from now until Election Day, Debbie won't have the resources to change that.

Look, friend: Floridians deserve better representation in the Senate, and America needs more senators who actually care about the people they serve.
