Friend, I'm tough. I'm battle-tested. I am ready to take on the liberal media head-on and call them out for their hypocrisy. My husband is black. My children and grandchildren are black. I am black. Why is it that when I speak out in support of conservative policies, my motives are immediately questioned? Liberals just can't wrap their heads around the fact that I dare to think differently, that I am not beholden to their political agenda simply because of the color of my skin. When I became the first woman Lt. Governor of Virginia – of either party – the liberal media just couldn't handle that I was a conservative Republican. Trust me, I have been called lots of names over the years. But these attacks from the liberal media only embolden me to keep fighting to spread our conservative message. |
Here's the truth: I used to be a Democrat. I believed that the Democrats were the party that would put average people like me first. Guess what? I was wrong! Republicans are the ones fighting to lift folks out of poverty and away from being dependent on the federal government — access to a quality education — free of indoctrination. Good-paying jobs in the private sector and a safe and secure community are the principles I am fighting for every single day. Frankly, when I hear liberals on MSNBC attacking me, I know I must be doing something right! |
Fighting back against the liberal media and the entire Democrat establishment is never easy. Still, with patriots like you on my side, I know we will win in November and beyond. |
Immigrant. Marine Veteran. Mom. Small Business Owner. Lieutenant Governor. I'm Winsome Sears, and I've held many titles in my life. Each one hasn't been a cakewalk, but I like a challenge. I've tried to show my daughters that what you can accomplish is not decided by the color of your skin or where you were born. Sure, a silver spoon would've made it easier, but I've found a helping hand from your community means so much more. That's why I'm reaching out to you asking for a helping hand to propel me to a win in my race for Governor. This will be another challenge, but with you on my side, I know I can do this. |
