The Town of Fort Laramie, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 6:00 p.m., local time, on November 13, 2024, in the Town Hall at 102 West Otis Street, Fort Laramie, WY 82212. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project(s).
- Fort Laramie Sewer & Water Improvements – Phase V Project: This project will replace all existing water distribution pipelines between Laramie Avenue and Miles Avenue from Railroad Street south to South Street.
At the meeting, the Town of Fort Laramie will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed

Based on current cost estimates, the Town of Fort Laramie plans to borrow ($1,692,636.00) from the Wyoming Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Increased user fees will repay the loan. The average rate increase is estimated to be $2.00/month per user above the current water utility base rate of $47.00/month per customer to repay the loan. Loan terms will be 0% interest rate and 20 years. The town intends to seek equivalency status when applying for Drinking Water SRF loan funding for this project.
