Folks,
I think the choice in front of us this November is pretty clear: Do we want our leaders to be about results, or about insults?
With Democrats in charge in Washington, we’re focused on solving problems and making progress. In the past few years, we’ve passed landmark legislation that has made a meaningful difference in Americans’ lives.
The American Rescue Plan sent direct relief to families and individuals in need, expanded the child tax credit, provided emergency grants to small businesses, and lowered health insurance premiums.
The Inflation Reduction Act lowered electricity bills, capped the price of insulin at $35/month for seniors, created more than 170,000 clean energy jobs in its first year alone, and made the largest investment in climate action ever.
The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act added protections for victims of domestic violence, created new funding for states to help keep deadly weapons out of the hands of dangerous individuals, and cracked down on criminals evading firearms licensing requirements.
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is closing the digital divide in rural America by delivering high-speed internet, repairing and rebuilding our roads, bridges, ports, and public transit options, and expanding access to clean drinking water for homes, businesses, schools, and child care centers around the country.
The Republicans on the ballot this November — from Donald Trump and JD Vance to my opponent Hung Cao to many of the GOP’s Congressional candidates — don’t have any meaningful plans to solve problems and get results.
Instead, they’re focused on insults… insulting their opponents and political adversaries, insulting our allies abroad, and insulting the American people .
That’s not what leadership is.
If you’re ready to move on from extremism and insults and get back to respect and results, I’m asking for your support today. With your help, we can secure decisive victories for Democrats up and down the ballot.
Will you pitch in to my re-election campaign today to help us turn out a record number of voters between now and November 5th? [[link removed]]
