It's Mother's Day, and I wanted to reflect a bit on what MJ means to my family and Texas.

  • A kick-ass mom, out there fighting for a future for all our kids, and we’re so lucky to get to celebrate her today.
  • A hard worker -- she doesn’t give up (whether she’s taking on the Taliban, the Pentagon, or kids trying to stay up past their bedtime) and she keeps going till she wins.
  • Going to be an amazing senator for Texas.
