Happy Thursday, y’all!

We’re very excited to have candidate for NC House 98 Melinda Bales, join us TONIGHT October 24 at 6:30PM for our October Meeting at Dilworth Grille. Please bring a friend (or two!) and RSVP by clicking here.

The race to take back the White House has tightened, and Trump’s victory now runs

through North Carolina. Even more, Mecklenburg County holds some of the most

competitive races for NC House and Senate this cycle. We’re rallying with the North

Carolina Federation of Young Republicans this weekend on Saturday, October 26th for

a door knocking deployment in Mecklenburg County to assist Melinda Bales and keep

NC House District 98 red! This district has been a true toss up in past election cycles,

so we need your help to defend this seat. Join us for dinner at 6pm Jacks corner tap in Cornelius.

How the Deployment Works

  • Sign up: Register to confirm your participation in the North Carolina deployment.

  • Make travel plans: Whether you’re driving or flying, coordinate with fellow YRs for carpools or book your flight. We have limited gas and flight stipends available.

  • Accommodations: Your hotel and meals will be covered for the deployment.

  • Knock Doors: From dawn to dusk, we’ll be canvassing to help get out the vote for key candidates in the 1st district!

  • Celebrate: After a hard day’s work, we’ll relax and enjoy the best Raleigh has to offer!

Every YR member who attends will have their hotel, food, and travel costs covered for the duration of the deployment. Each out-of-state attendee is eligible for up to a $200 flight stipend or $100 gas stipend, depending on how they are traveling. You must register in advance to have your expenses covered. Note: all flight and gas expenses will be paid upon arrival.
