More than 14,000: That’s how many children have been killed in Gaza since conflict escalated last October.
Right now, hundreds of thousands of kids are facing constant threats to their safety – including the risk of catastrophic hunger and the spread of diseases like polio. And the recent escalation of violence in Lebanon is putting even more children in danger in the region.
Because of our supporters’ generosity, we’ve reached 779,600 people in Gaza and the surrounding region – including 381,721 children – over the past year and provided them with lifesaving support. This includes:
We’ve also supported 111,400 people, including 47,400 children, over the last year. This includes over 47,300 people, including 20,600 children since Sept. 23, 2024, when escalations dramatically increased. We’re now working to scale up our efforts in response to the terrifying escalation over the last several weeks.
All this and more is possible thanks to our supporters – even as humanitarian aid in Gaza remains severely restricted. Your unwavering dedication to children in Gaza, Lebanon and around the world continues to help us overcome these challenges – and for that, we can’t thank you enough.
But to truly protect children’s lives, rights and futures, we must have an immediate ceasefire and the release of all hostages.
Thank you for taking the time to read more about the impact of our supporters through the conflict in Gaza and other pressing hardships around the world.
