chip in $3 to flip CA‑27 from red to blue. But before I do, I need to explain exactly why the outside spending in this race is having such a massive impact.
The national GOP is clobbering us on the airwaves in the district with deceitful ads, spending over $15 million in a last‑ditch effort to save this seat and their extreme majority.
A large portion of this dark money is coming from the Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF) – a super PAC run by Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, and groups like these are only increasing their cash flow to Garcia in the final weeks before Election Day.
This has an unquestionable amount of sway on undecided voters who are trusting Garcia at his word. Despite trying to paint himself as a moderate, Garcia can’t hide from his extreme votes for a national abortion ban and to decertify the 2020 election results, among many others.
$15 million is a nearly unfathomable amount of money. And it’s all being spent to stop our campaign’s momentum.
