My name is Dr. Kathi Aultman.

I am a retired obstetrician-gynecologist. I also used to be an abortionist.

In my career, I regretfully committed over 500 abortions — and then I awakened to the truth.

Many years ago, I came face to face with the gravity and devastation of abortion, and my heart aches at the thought of all the people who are not here because of a procedure I learned how to do.

At the time, I genuinely thought women were helped by abortion. I was so focused on helping women that I was blinded to the fact that another person was involved — and destroyed — in the process.

I was blind to the fact that women are not actually helped by having their children killed.

Like so many others who boldly defend abortion, I was misinformed — that’s why I am urging you to join me in sharing the truth about what abortion does to women and children.

I now understand that women are not helped by having their children killed. Our throwaway culture should never include people. Our innocent children deserve a chance at life, and there are always resources for mothers and fathers in need.  

I stopped committing abortions when I finally realized that the worth of preborn babies has nothing to do with their wantedness. 

I had seen how the mothers, my patients, who kept their babies were thriving, while the mothers who aborted were not. 

The promotional narrative around abortion is such a lie. I’ve experienced it firsthand. I always wanted to help women, and I still do. That’s why I’m telling my story as loudly as possible.
