Dear Tides Partner,

So much is at stake right now to ensure marginalized communities are protected from the climate crisis and have a voice in our democracy. All across the country, community leaders like you are taking bold action every day to find a way forward.

Last month, six of these incredible organizers came together at Climate Week NYC for the Tides Women’s Environmental Leadership Fund (WE LEAD) panel. Coming to us from across the country, they are fighting hard for climate justice and the rights, safety, and inclusion of their communities of color:

  • Raya Salter, Energy Justice Law & Policy Center (facilitator)
  • Beulah Osueke, New Voices for Reproductive Justice
  • Judith LeBlanc, Native Organizers Alliance
  • Asti Davis Robins, Power Coalition for Equity and Justice
  • Vianey Olivarria, Chispa Arizona
  • Jacqui Patterson, Chisholm Legacy Project

Dive into the work they’re doing to educate voters, learn what’s at stake in each of their communities, and hear how they balance self-care in a time of turmoil. Watch this inspiring video and dive deeper into the work of these incredible women and gender-expansive leaders who are shaping the future in a time of crisis.
