*LCB Action: Cannabis Related Rulemaking – E2SSB 5080 Proposed Rules on Social Equity in Cannabis*

 

On Oct. 23, 2024, during its regularly scheduled meeting the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) took the following cannabis-related action:

 

*Social Equity in Cannabis: Supplemental proposed rules (CR-102) filed – Public comment period now open*

 

During its regularly scheduled meeting, the Liquor and Cannabis Board approved an updated rule proposal (supplementary CR-102) to amend WAC 314-55-570 [ [link removed] ] implementing Engrossed Second Substitute Senate Bill (E2SSB) 5080 (chapter 220, Laws of 2023) [ [link removed] ], in law as RCW 69.50.335 [ [link removed] ]. This law expands and improves the Social Equity in Cannabis Program.

 

Public comment is now open until the public hearing currently scheduled for Dec. 4, 2024.
