Last time around, Georgia went for Biden 49.47% to 49.24%. North Carolina went for Trump 49.93% to 48.59%.

This race is going to be close – just like it was last time.

But this year is different. It's crucial that Kamala Harris beat Donald Trump, and here's why:

The Supreme Court gave Donald Trump a blank check to do whatever he wants without fear of prosecution.

And if Trump wins again, he will appoint up to two more radical right-wing justices to the Supreme Court.

That's a majority that will shape this country for decades to come – cementing a nationwide abortion ban, outlawing IVF treatment, weakening regulation, protecting polluters from prosecution, and promoting a system of bribes and favors.

Our democracy is on the precipice, and every race – local, state, and national – is a critical barrier between the rule of law and "anything goes."

Action is our only option.
