This week, I joined Tammy Baldwin out on the campaign trail in Wisconsin.

I know that we can always count on Tammy Baldwin to fight for our values and have our back. And now as she faces her most competitive and expensive election yet, it’s more important than ever that we have her back, too.

In Wisconsin, races go down to the wire. Donald Trump eked out a win in 2016, and the terrific Mandela Barnes came up just a hair short in 2022’s Senate race. And now, polling shows Tammy’s race is one of the closest Senate races in the nation.

Mitch McConnell hand picked a California bank owner, Eric Hovde, to run against her. Hovde has self-funded his campaign to the tune of $20 million so far, and Republicans have already combined to spend more than $77 million on ads across Wisconsin. And with polls tightening, it’s clear their attacks are working.

Look, this is serious. We need to keep Tammy’s voice in Washington, where she fights and wins for working families and works to protect our freedoms, including the right to an abortion.

But Republicans are spending a fortune to defeat her, and Tammy can’t self-fund like her megamillionaire opponent can. Instead, she’s counting on support from grassroots donors just like you to fight back.
