Dear John, To say that my wife has been busy this year would be an understatement. She has been so busy lately standing up to the Republicans in the General Assembly, protecting our environment, and fighting to defend democracy. And when she isn’t fighting on Jones Street, she is working tirelessly at her day job where she leads Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities, working to provide the best quality care for our most vulnerable community. And lastly, on top of those two really important jobs for our state and our community, her most important job being the best mom to our two daughters. If we want more leaders like her, we need to ensure they have the resources to compete against campaigns funded by corporate polluters. Then we need to turn out now during the early voting period, or on November 5th, to elect them. We all know races in NC are won by small margins. Help us make the difference in this election by donating today. Then turn out and vote for the amazing leaders we have on the ballot.
I am proud of our work, but it isn’t done.
Dan Crawford P.s. If you are deciding between donating to Western North Carolina Hurricane Relief or to NCLCV, I urge you to donate to Western NC. But if you have the capacity to donate to both, please. First give to Western NC, and then make a donation to NCLCV to help elect climate leaders. Hurricane Helene’s indisputable tie to the climate crisis reminds us that we need climate action, and we need it now. |
