As October comes to a close –– or as we call it, Roctober! –– we continue to highlight and celebrate the innovative suicide prevention research that guides all areas of AFSP's mission.
At the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, research has always been at the heart of our mission. Today, AFSP is the largest private funder of suicide prevention research, allowing us to pave the way forward in discovering what leads to suicide, and how we can help save lives.
Research continues to inform everything we do, including our education programs, advocacy for life-saving public policies, and support for those who have lost loved ones to suicide. Research is the light that leads us through the dark, and toward hope.
