The last time Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans controlled the White House and Congress, they tried dozens of times to repeal the Affordable Care Act and rip away health care from millions.

And no matter what they say, if they win power, I know they’ll take the same harmful measures again.

I refuse to sit by and let that happen.

That’s why, as your next Lieutenant Governor, I promise to defend healthcare access for millions of Virginians.

It’s really this simple: Health care is a human right.

Every Virginian must have access to safe and affordable coverage, including reproductive health care, safe and legal abortion, and low-cost prescription drugs. 

But we can’t stop there. We also need to address physician and nursing shortages all across Virginia while also expanding access to mental health services. For the past five years, as a member and now Vice Chair of the Joint Commission on Health Care, I have been working to address each of these areas.
