I'm excited to shine a spotlight on Representative Hoa Nguyen, a leader who embodies dedication, resilience, and a deep commitment to our community.

Hoa's journey is a true testament to the power of perseverance and community support. Arriving in Portland at 15 on a scholarship to St. Mary’s Academy, she understood early on that education is a key to unlocking opportunities.

After earning her degree in Sociology from Portland State University, she dedicated herself to public education, becoming a relentless advocate for students and families in our community.

In the legislature, Hoa has been a force for positive change:
