To me, today is about celebrating every woman who mothers by making a difference in someone else’s life.

Team, I checked in with my mom a little earlier to let her know I’m thinking about her on Mother’s Day. She’s made such a huge impact on my life, and it’s been so hard to be away from her lately—and even harder to keep her from her grandkids.

But she’s keeping busy with reading. And Erik and the kids are making this day special for me, too.

Today means so many different things to all of us—and I know this year it might be particularly difficult for some.

To me, today is an opportunity to celebrate every woman who "mothers" by making a difference in someone else’s life—to students or colleagues they mentor, a community they care for, or children they raise. Or, knowing that around 77% of health care workers are women, today could be a tribute to a woman you know who is on the front lines of this crisis.

Today, I invite you to share the story of a woman you want to celebrate for making a difference in your life—it doesn’t have to be your own mom.

As always, I promise anything you share will be read, and I’m personally looking forward to hearing about who you’re celebrating this Mother’s Day.

Thanks for all you do,
Amy

P.S. My mom’s been so impressed by how this team has stepped up, that she finally gave in and agreed to share her famous butter pecan turtle cookie recipe with Team McGrath. Here it is! (Seriously, it’s really good.)
