Dear Friend,

Happy Mother’s Day! We've already called our mom to wish her a happy Mother's Day—don't forget to call yours.

This Mother's Day isn't like any other. We wish we could all be together as a family right now, celebrating our mom, and bringing together three generations of incredible mothers and children. It is also tinged with sadness over the recent death of our grandmother, Joan.

But we are reminiscing about past Mother's Day celebrations, celebrating virtually, and planning future Mother's Days when we can all be together.

We're proud of our mom and all that she's done, especially in the last weeks, advocating for Pennsylvanians in the wake of this pandemic, and we're so honored to have been raised by a woman who puts others and her community first—who values truth, transparency, and decency above all else.

We're lucky to have our mom be the figure that our children will look up to, a woman whose strength is in her commitment to service, and who will never stop fighting for those who need help most.

So happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, and thank you for everything you do to support our mom.
