Good morning Young Democrats,

Thank you for joining us in Kern! This past weekend, in conjunction with the California Democratic Party, Kern County Democratic Party, Grassroots Democrats HQ, Kern County Young Democrats, and Youth Save Democracy, we walked doors for Rudy Salas and local candidates in Bakersfield. Together, we will flip the House and build a progressive bench.

Next: Santa Clarita! On October 26, in conjunction with Los Angeles County Young Democrats, CYD Labor Caucus, and CSUN Matador Democrats, we are walking doors for George Whitesides for Congress, Kipp Mueller for State Senate, and Pilar Schiavo for State Assembly. RSVP now ([link removed]) to help us flip the House and protect and expand our legislative majorities.

Voter outreach efforts! We are partnering with the CYD Labor Caucus for voter outreach efforts for key swing district candidates. On October 24, we will phone bank for Christy Holstege for State Assembly in a key swing district. RSVP now ([link removed]) to assure California continues to lead the way in progressive victories. Next year’s chartering documents due soon! With the 2025 Open Chartering Period approaching, all returning and new chapters must submit/resubmit their respective chartering information and documents for 2025. The open chartering period begins November 13, 2024 and closes December 13, 2024.

Only 13 days to go! Let’s keep working hard to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. If we win in November, we can finally put this MAGA extremist nightmare behind us once and for all. Onward to victory!
