Dear John, Election Day is less than two weeks away. It is not an exaggeration to say that the future of U.S. democracy could hinge on the outcome of this election. Donald Trump has repeatedly shown the impulses of an autocrat, and with fewer guardrails than ever, he may very well end what’s left of our civil rights and civil liberties. You are voting in a critical swing state. While we’re certainly not thrilled with the Democrats, we believe that the first step to winning any of the policies we want — ending forever wars, a Gaza ceasefire, healthcare for all, urgent action on climate, and more — is the defeat of Donald Trump. What happens in Pennsylvania and a handful of other states will decide the election. That’s why we’re urging you to go to the polls and vote for the Harris-Walz ticket. Early voting in Pennsylvania has already begun. You can vote early in Pennsylvania by requesting a mail-in ballot and then either dropping it off or mailing it in.
