The saying goes, “you are the company you keep.” My opponent has campaigned alongside Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson, Michelle Morrow, and JD Vance.
Mark Robinson: “If I had all the power right now, let’s say I was the governor and had a willing legislature, we could pass a bill saying you can’t have an abortion in North Carolina for any reason.” He has also referred to North Carolinians as filth, maggots and flies and stated, “Some folks need killing.”
Michelle Morrow: Obama should be the subject of “a pay-per-view of him in front of a firing squad” and “Death to ALL traitors!!”
JD Vance: “Reports now show that people have had their pets abducted and eaten by people who shouldn’t be in this country.” The Mayor of Springfield confirmed Vance spread this claim even after being told it was false, and stated, “This rhetoric hurts the city and its people.”
Rather than calling out dangerous and violent rhetoric, my opponent seems to have deleted a photo of him and Robinson on the campaign trail, according to CNN. In terms of complicity, what remains unsaid speaks volumes.
