Two years ago, when Republicans tried to strip away reproductive rights with Amendment 2, Kentuckians stood strong and voted NO. Now, they're back with another Amendment 2 — and this time, they're coming after our public schools. We need to act fast — will you make a donation [[link removed]] of $15 or whatever you can afford to help us fight back?
Their "school voucher" scheme would drain $1.2 billion from our state's budget. That's the equivalent of almost 10,000 Kentucky teachers and school employees.
But here's what really got me: 63% of Kentucky counties don't even have certified private schools. This isn't about choice — it's about deliberately undermining our public schools, especially in our rural communities where these schools are often the largest employer and the heart of the community. Your support of $25, $50, or any amount that you can afford today [[link removed]] will help us reach every corner of Kentucky with this crucial message — because every community deserves to know what's at stake.
