Minnesota Stormwater Research Council Seeking Urban Stormwater Research Proposals
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is a collaborator of the Minnesota Stormwater Research Council (MSRC) and much of the research is used to inform the Minnesota Stormwater Manual. The MPCA encourages interested parties to submit proposals to the 2024 Minnesota Urban Stormwater Research Request for Proposals (RFP) before the 5 p.m., November 10, 2024, deadline.
Interested parties are encouraged to thoroughly review the RFP research priorities, eligibility, requirements, and deadlines and apply via the online portal, all available on the University of Minnesota’s Water Resources Center Funding Opportunities website. All teams applying for a Discovery Project will be required to present their pre-proposal to the MSRC Advisory Board on November 18-20, 2024. Presentations for Rapid Response project applicants are not required but may be requested by the Water Resources Center (WRC), MSRC Advisory Board, or the applicant.
Funding to support this work is provided by the Minnesota Clean Water Fund and by the Minnesota Stormwater Research Council. The Council and the WRC recognize the watersheds, cities, and private businesses that contribute financial resources to make this work possible.
