and tired of the inept and morally bankrupt leadership of Republicans in

As another dangerous hurricane hurled toward our state, Gov. Ron DeSantis
refused to even pick up a phone call from Vice President Kamala Harris —
who was calling to plan through recovery efforts in the aftermath of
Hurricane Helene and in preparation of yet another devastating storm,
Hurricane Milton.

This makes me so angry: DeSantis and his allies are playing politics with
the lives and livelihoods of Floridians. It's the same old tired playbook
from the likes of Donald Trump and my opponent, Sen. Rick Scott.

Floridians deserve better. America deserves better. It's no wonder Kamala
Harris is polling within the margin of error against Trump here in Florida
and that I am just 2 points behind Rick Scott. Floridians are ready for
change — and it's our grassroots campaign that can deliver it.
