They know Samaritan's Purse, based in Boone NC, and they know Samaritan's Purse will step up and help them. FEMA? Roy Cooper? Not so much.
Kamala Harris did a drive-by in NC on her way to a fundraiser. Donald Trump actually went to Western NC when it was safe to show the people there he wasn't going to abandon them.
They are NOT the same.
The members of the community AND the leaders here know that President Trump will be there with them all the way.
He gave them $25 million personally. Set up a GoFundMe that raised millions more. came and actually talked to the people on the ground.
That's leadership.
No way the FEMA flubs would have happened under Trump. He would have replaced the incompetent bureaucrats that made it happen.
But make no mistake: one of the big challenges is to make sure the West votes.
When most people have no internet, nor power, nor heat, nor cell service, it does create challenges.
When many places have no roads, no water, no food.... how do you get to people to even inform them of how to vote under the circumstances?
We need to endeavor all the ways we can we helpful so that good people in the mountains who have lost everything can find their voice and express their vote as valued citizens of the Republic!
And it's working. Republicans are outpacing Dems in Early voting in NC for the first time!
The folks in the mountains clearly want to vote. They are defying all odds to show up at early vote centers and do their duty to save the Republic.
But for some, that's the only way they CAN vote. Their normal precincts have been washed away, roads are gone and mail isn't being delivered.
From here to November 5, we are focusing 100% of our efforts to helping the patriots of Western NC vote. If they can stop the Dems and save the nation, we should try to help where we can.
