Say, friend: did you know that according to the Census Bureau, nearly 30% of Floridians are Latino? Or that 22.6% speak Spanish at home?

Even still, Florida has never had a Latina senator — which is probably why Rick Scott has inundated Hispanic voters with multimillion-dollar attack ads calling me a "silly socialist" in mediocre Spanish.

And it's definitely why he refuses to join me for a debate:

Mira: Rick Scott knows that if we were to face off live for Florida voters to see, I would easily expose him as the fraud he is, in English and Spanish. 

But until he grows a spine and gives me the chance to prove it, my top priority is beating him at the ballot box — and I can't do that without your help toward my $500,000 goal by midnight tonight.

Unlike my broadly disliked, out-of-touch opponent, I don't need to resort to shallow tropes to relate to working Floridians of any background.

So the fact that he's spending millions to scare Floridians into voting against their interests, and for GOP extremists like himself who couldn't care less about us after Election Day, makes me sick — y ya no más.

But also unlike Rick, I don't have a nine-figure fortune to flood the airwaves with pricey ads to convince voters otherwise, let alone buy Florida's seat. My campaign is powered by working people like you.

And that, friend, is why it's so vital that I can count on your help to close the 19% gap on my critical $500,000 goal before 11:59 p.m.

If we fall short now, he'll know we don't have what it takes to compete against his cash — and he will spend millions more in these final weeks to crowd out the airwaves with more shoddy Spanish ads and buy this seat again.
