It's Abigail, Amy's daughter. This Mother's Day, I won't be with my mom since she's doing her job in Washington, D.C. I already mailed her a card, but I thought I'd send another. Will you join me in wishing my mom -- and all moms around the country -- a happy Mother's Day?

Recently, cleaning out a closet, I found an old coupon book I gave my mom for Mother's Day back when I was in first grade. It had winners like this:

"This coupon is for you and I will play piano for 20 min. I will do this for 2 days."

But also a few that may still be useful today:

"I will do breakfast in bed"

and

"I will not bug you when you're on a phone call"

This Mother's Day, I want to let my mom know that, in fact, these coupons are still valid and can be redeemed at any time. (Especially the breakfast in bed.)

My mom is an incredible role model for me, and I've learned so much over the years by watching her talk with all the people we meet, whether in a parade, at a pancake breakfast, or on the campaign trail. Now, during this hard time, my mom is working harder than ever to keep people safe and preserve our democracy by fighting to ensure that every American can vote by mail.

I know you are one of my mom's biggest supporters. And I know you value her hard work and dedication as much as I do. Will you take a moment to sign this Mother's Day card? (I'll make sure she sees it!)
