Dear VCC Community,

The National Citizens Inquiry hearings on the question of the safety of children in Canada concluded this weekend in Vancouver. The evidence of systemic harm was overwhelming, and I might add, uncontested. Though every elected representative at the Federal and Provincial level , and every Chief Medical Officer of Health was invited to testify, not one responded to the invitation.

Dr. Paul Thomas, Dr. Stephen Malthouse, Dr. Byram Bridle, Dr. Chris Shaw and Dr. Jessica Rose provided compelling testimony on the harmful effects of the vaccine paradigm. While most of what was shared would be familiar to all of us at VCC, what was new for me was documentation from Dr. Thomas that compared the risk of mortality from the disease. condition against the risk of mortality from the vaccine. In every case the risk of mortality was higher with the vaccine.

The evidence of vaccine harm combined with the evidence of harm from the fluoridation of our water (Dr. Bob Dickson), the poisoning of our food (Dr. Michelle Perro), and the callous disregard for the harm caused confirms that there is no ‘health’ and no ‘care’ in our healthcare system. There is little doubt that the harms are known and intentional. 

In my concluding comments I addressed how every system of accountability, every guardrail, and every mechanism to ensure the safety of our children has been captured and compromised such that our governments, agents, and institutions including education, law enforcement, and health are complicit in the harming of children today.

The light in this time of darkness are the beautiful and courageous souls who stand up and speak up regardless of the consequences for their own well-being. At the NCI, the room was filled with their light and love and it was an honour and a blessing to be in their company.

We are at a crossroads. Some kind of change in direction is needed. More of the same will not save us from our own demise. Radical new ways of thinking and living are needed if we hope to sustain our existence on this planet. The imminent collapse of our economic structures, the poisoning of our environment, the erosion of our personal rights and freedoms, our ongoing commitment to armed hostilities means we need to awaken from this insanity. Insanity, as the saying goes, "is doing more of the same and expecting a different outcome".

So how do we change the world? How do we chart a different path? Margaret Wheatley is an internationally known researcher and author. Wheatley has spent her life studying the nature of human interactions and the impact they have. Wheatley contributed the list below of the five conversations she feels we must have with our self and others for the sake of our future:

    1. Who is my neighbor? Do we know who lives nearby? What do we need to do to get to know each other better? Community is the greatest untapped wealth we have available to us at this time. 

    2. How can I cultivate curiosity rather than judgment? It's not our differences that divide us. It is our judgments about our differences. Are we willing to be curious and listen to the stories of those we've distanced ourselves from?

    3. What is my role in creating change? Am I willing to assume the responsibility for creating the changes I want to see in the world? We can no longer wait for leaders or laws to create the changes we need. It's up to us and it's the only way the world ever changes is when a few friends start talking. 

    4. Am I willing to reclaim time to think? As the world speeds up we're forfeiting our most precious human capacities -- reflection, awareness, dreaming and relationships. The only way to restore these capabilities is to slow things down, re-engage in reflection, pause and truly notice what's going on.

    5. Can I be fearless? Fearlessness is not being free of fear. It means that we do not allow our fears to silence or stop us. What issues and people summon me to be fearless?

It's time to turn off the television, power down the computer, unplug the iPad, and reflect on the potential that each of these conversations hold for our self, our family, our community and our world.  Look for opportunities today to initiate and explore these conversations with those around you. Let us direct the change thoughtfully and respectfully rather than merely react to the change as if we have no power or imagination.

A new paper by Professor Claudia Chaufan has reported troubling results - ...only 16.1% of vaccinated respondents reported being happy with their choice to get vaccinated, whereas 92.6% of unvaccinated respondents reported being happy with their decision to not get vaccinated (agree and strongly agree). Furthermore, 70.3% observed differential treatment of patients based on their vaccine status and only 4.1% report that they are confident that the current healthcare system will provide adequate and quality care while respecting personal preferences and values (agree and strongly agree).
