To all the mommies, mamas, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, stepmothers, aunties, sisters, queer mamas, genderqueer parents, trans parents, single parents, incarcerated moms, mothers-to-be, mothers we miss, mothers with children in their hearts, moms who have lost children, mothers by birth and by love. And to those mothering the children within.
We hold space for you and hope that your love is manifested today and always...
And a special offering to all the mothers who have lost children. Peace Over Violence stands in solidarity with Wanda Cooper Jones, and all the mothers who are in a space of grief, confusion, frustration and loss.
We remain committed to building a violence-free world for the right of every mother to raise children free from violence.
