Did you know you will have numerous judges on your Oklahoma ballot? These positions are hugely important, yet they are often entirely overlooked. We want you to be highly informed when you cast your ballot, so we at the OKGOP have created a two page document about all 12 judges for you to print, post, share, & distribute any way you choose.

The most important thing we can tell you is we ABSOLUTELY recommend you VOTE NO on ALL THREE Oklahoma Supreme Court Judges. The question will be should they be retained in their position yes or no. We believe they should NOT be retained, so if you agree they must go you should VOTE NO. Fairly easy to remember: the Supreme Court judges must go, so VOTE NO!

Their names are Noma D. Gurich, James E. Edmondson, & Yvonne Kauger. They are all three extremely liberal & very much out of alignment with Oklahoma values & Republican principles. They’ve consistently legislated from the bench to overturn conservative Republican legislation that the majority of Oklahomans support. Simply put, they are trying to enforce their liberal “values” on the rest of Oklahoma through their court decisions. They MUST GO, so we must VOTE NO!

One more time: VOTE NO on all three Oklahoma Supreme Court Judges. Their names are Gurich, Edmondson, Kauger.

In addition to those 3 judges on the Supreme Court, we have 3 Criminal Appeals Court Judges to vote on & 6 Civil Appeals Court Judges. Below you will find information we’re providing on each of those judges that can help you in determining how you will vote. Information like if they are registered Republican or something else, their age, how long they’ve been a judge overall & in their current role, & which Governor put them in their position.

There are numerous other groups that have provided voting recommendations on all these remaining judges, so you can find those online. We wanted you to have additional information in order to make an informed decision based on your preferences.

For instance many have said they will vote yes to keep the judges appointed by Governor Stitt since he’s been such a strong Republican Governor. Others are looking at how long someone has been in their position. Did you know Judge Kauger has been on the Oklahoma Supreme Court LONGER than Nancy Pelosi has been in Congress? And looking at their ideology one could see they are very similar in many ways not just length of time in office.
