Hi John,

I've just published a new blog post:

Gavin Newsom would never debate me himself, but he’s happy to have his staff member run against me. Tonight, we have a 30-minute televised debate. It starts at 7:30 and will be streamed online at this link.

Unluckily for Ms. Morse, the debate is hosted by KCRA – the very station that just flunked her in a fact check of her attack ads. You can expect that to come up once or twice – as well as the abject failures of the Newsom Administration she was part of for five years.

It’s not just my opponent whose association with Newsom has become a problem. Democrat candidates across California are desperately trying to distance themselves from him. With so many targeted races in the state, Newsom’s unpopularity may cost Democrats the House.

What a fitting twist this would be, after he thought he was going to be the one to win them the White House. That’s our opportunity these next two weeks: to fend off Newsom’s attempt to defeat me, while creating a statewide anti-Newsom wave that secures a Republican Majority.

Also part of the wave: LA District Attorney George Gascón, who Newsom originally appointed, is about to lose reelection in a 30-point blowout; and our Prop. 36 initiative is poised to pass in a landside after Newsom led the opposition. The Washington Post even just endorsed it.

And some more good news: SpaceX is suing the CA Coastal Commission. The Commission openly admitted to denying the SpaceX launch plan, and harming U.S. national security, because they disagree with Elon Musk’s political opinions.

This comes after the FAA tried to delay the historic Starship launch. Fortunately, they backed off after I confronted the FAA Administrator. I think you’ll enjoy this podcast I did about our efforts to help SpaceX fight back – and how we need to fix our broken, corrupted bureaucracy.
