Today, we’re officially two weeks away from Election Day.

While it’s critical we make our voices heard in the 2024 general election,
including re-electing Justice Democrat incumbents like Representatives
Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Summer Lee, and more, we recognize the fact
that we deserve more progressives on the ballot, from top to bottom.

That’s why Justice Democrats is looking ahead to the 2025-2026 cycle and
preparing to recruit the next generation of young, diverse, working-class
progressives to run for Congress.

It’s beyond clear: we need more bold, courageous visionaries who are
committed to making change for regular, everyday people through
legislation like Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, the Equality Act,
an arms embargo and ceasefire resolution, and so much more.

But with corporate and right-wing super PACs like AIPAC and the crypto
lobby spending more and more dark money in our elections to plant shills
in Congress who will do their bidding, Congressional races are becoming
more expensive than ever before. That’s why we need to start building the
grassroots resources to find, recruit, train, and support progressive
candidates NOW.

With your help, we recruited and elected Squad members like AOC who are
leading our progressive movement and building real power in Congress. But
after losing Representatives Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman in this year’s
most expensive Democratic primary elections, it’s going to take a
groundswell of grassroots support to rebuild the bloc.
