The Countdown Clock is Running. Only 14 days left to protect women’s rights. Reproductive rights and recognition of the ratified Equal Rights Amendment as the 28th Amendment to the US Constitution and Democracy itself are on the line.

As we enter the final two weeks before the 2024 election, we are reaching out with an important request—and assignment—for you and every member of our Feminist Majority community.

But first, an update from the field:

Right now, our Vote4Equality has 183 Campus Coordinators and Organizers leading teams of campus volunteers actively working on 43 campuses in the six key battleground states—Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania as well as several Congressional House districts in California and New York.

Thanks to the support of Feminist Majority friends like you we now are able to contact a huge portion of the 945,000 women students enrolled on our College Mobilization Campuses.

We’re taking advantage of the massive Gender Gap and providing the campus teams with flyers, signs, posters, buttons, stickers, Vote as if Your Life Depends on It T-shirts, social media – urging students to vote, where to vote, and spread the word. We fully expect our Get-Out-the-Vote Mobilization will be key in providing winning margins in battle ground states.

Given the fact that the 2020 presidential race was decided by a narrow margin of only 44,000 votes in the key Electoral College states, it is clear our Vote for Equality campaign can help make the winning difference. According to the Harvard Youth Poll, Kamala Harris now holds a 31-point lead over Trump among young voters. The poll also showed a massive gender gap, with 70% of likely women voters supporting Harris.

Of course, our mission in 2024 is to not only to win for Kamala Harris, but win in key U.S. House and U.S. Senate races to successfully flip the House of Representatives to give majority control to the Democrats and maintain Democratic control of the U.S. Senate.

We must win to restore reproductive rights and win recognition for the Equal Rights Amendment and to save our Democracy. As we all know, this is no ordinary election.

Our Urgent Request of You

At the same time, our Campus Coordinators, Organizers, and volunteers are working tirelessly we are asking you and every member of our Feminist Majority community to take on the following assignment in support of our Vote for Equality efforts.

Action Step 1:
Make a list of 3 to 5 friends that you can reach out to this week by phone or email and urge them to vote for all Democratic candidates from Harris at the top, to U.S. House and Senate candidates. The MAGA Republicans deserve no votes given their War on Women and their freedom robbing agenda.

Step 2:
Send each of your friends this CanIVote.org [[link removed]] link so they can find their state’s voting information including the location of their nearest polling place, how to vote by absentee ballot, or learn about any special requirements in their state.

Step 3:
Ask them to take action immediately and let you know they did.

You Know What’s At Stake

We both know what’s at stake. Our rights, our future, and those of our daughters, sisters, granddaughters—and our sons and grandsons—are on the line.

What happens in these next two weeks will determine whether we can secure the Equal Rights Amendment, protect reproductive rights, close the gender pay gap, and ensure access to healthcare for all, defend LGBTQ+ rights and a host of other personal freedoms, as we deal with climate change and other pressing issues both here and internationally.

This is it. We won’t go back. Now or ever. Please, take this small action—reach out to 3 to 5 friends and ask them to join you in turning out the vote.

For Victory and Equality,

P.S. Every vote truly counts. REMEMBER: The 2020 presidential election was decided by just 44,000 votes across a few key states. That’s 4.4 votes per precinct. What you and your friends do now could make the difference.

Thank you for all you’ve done—and all you will do in the days ahead.
