Here at EMILYs List, we're no strangers to making history.
We've helped elect over 1,700 Democratic pro-choice women to ALL levels of office since 1985, including 20 governors and 201 members of the United States Congress. Many of those candidates became the first women — or first women of color — ever elected to their positions.
But we still have yet to shatter the highest, hardest glass ceiling in politics: electing the first woman president of the United States. We've been ready for a woman POTUS for a long time, John — and this cycle, it could finally happen.
