John, MAGA Republicans are defending Trump’s threats against me this week in national television interviews. Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin. Multiple members of Congress. It is so pathetic to see how they contort themselves to defend his authoritarian ravings.

Trump has destroyed the modern Republican Party and bent it into a cult of personality that will excuse his most violent, dictatorial fantasies. We must defeat them. John, will you please rush an urgent contribution split between Aaron Rouse and my campaign before my final end-of-month deadline, so we can respond before it’s too late?

Here’s Republican Mike Waltz on CNN. Waltz signed an amicus brief in support of a United States Supreme Court lawsuit contesting the results of the 2020 election. He voted against legislation to establish the January 6 Committee. He did not have the courage to condemn Trump’s threats.

Here’s Republican Byron Donalds, who objected to the certification of the 2020 election and said he “personally” did not believe Joe Biden was the “legitimate” president. He did not have the courage to oppose Trump either.

You might not know these Republicans, but that’s the point.

You could practically pick ANY Republican elected leader out of a hat, and you would find an election-denying MAGA Trump supporter.

Trump’s cult of personality has run the principled, constitutional conservatives like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger out of office. MAGA sycophants are all that are left.

Trump must be defeated. His Senate allies must be defeated. And in seven competitive California congressional districts, his MAGA candidates must be stopped so Democrats can take back the House.
