Since our founding, the ACLU has fought tirelessly to ensure that all eligible voters are able to cast ballots and have their ballots counted. In the wake of the 2020 election, our team filed more than 30 lawsuits to protect voters and safeguard the outcome of the election.

There's not a doubt in my mind that a similar response will be needed this year – but the ACLU was built for this moment. We're pushing Congress to pass a package of voting rights bills that would make voting easier and more accessible. We've filed or intervened in nearly 20 lawsuits this cycle – and we need to ramp up our preparations into high gear if we are going to continue to meet the moment with the force necessary.

The best way to ensure that every one of us can vote our values at the polls is by ensuring that our lawyers have the resources they need to challenge unfair restrictions immediately. And for that, we need you.
